Gears of War 3 Contest:
Thanks to Epic & DeviantArt for putting together this great contest.
I feel my submission captures the "soul-shattering spirit" of Gears of War by focusing on what Marcus and team put on the line and sacrifice to stop the Locust Horde. In my interpretation I show Marcus Fenix as a man leading his squad into battle willing to give his life for his soldiers and team. His rage is so much so that he is not even his human self when going into battle, but more a death soldier out to revenge his fallen brothers and put an end to the Locust.
